Several months ago, I had the pleasure of introducing Dr Diane Mueller, ND, LAc, and Miles Nichols, NC, LAc, as speakers at the 2016 NANP conference. Both are functional medicine practitioners who incorporate mindfulness as a stress-management technique into their integrative health practice. I was delighted at the synchronicity of the connection given my focus on stress and nutrition, and even more so when I learned Diane and Miles live and practice in the Denver area.
Diane and Miles are co-authors of the book Stress Resilience, in which they present 12 steps for resolving root causes of stress. I purchased a copy of the book at the conference and read it on my flight home. What a welcome read! Stress Resilience is filled with useful tips for slowing down, staying focused, and learning to overcome the overwhelm that can easily take over the day. Diane, Miles and I share the belief that managing stress is not about eliminating the challenges from your life. Rather it is about strengthening your body and mind to remain resilient in the face of those challenges. Nutrition is one piece of the stress management process. Staying grounded is another.
I am excited to share that for a limited time, Diane and Miles are offering Stress Resilience for the cost of shipping and handling. Normally $17.00, the book is now available online for only $6.95. The book sits at my bedside as my reminder to implement the 3 Ps for staying resilient and how to treat my adrenal glands with care so they have what it takes to support me when challenges arise.
I encourage you to take advantage of this limited offer. To receive your copy of Stress Resilience, follow this link.
